Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn teamed up for an ode to Beyonce’s “Formation” video while on set for their movie Mother/Daughter. Although there isn’t a great deal of information about the upcoming flick, in which Hawn plays Schumer’s mother, we do know it was shot in Hawaii. While promoting her new book The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Schumer explained that Hawaii “didn’t totally agree with me.”
“I was filming a movie in Hawaii all summer with Goldie Hawn. I got really sick there,” Schumer told Colbert. “I got Bronchitis, I was exhausted. I was in the hospital. We had to stop shooting for a week. It was rock bottom. I couldn’t speak … and I coughed so hard I fractured my own ribs.”
Well, it turns out Schumer felt well enough to power through filming the movie — it also stars Ike Barinholtz, Christopher Meloni, Wanda Sykes and Colin Quinn — and the Beyonce parody, titled “Get in Formation.” You can watch a 30-second preview below. But you’ll have to sign up for Tidal to see the whole thing.

“[Goldie Hawn] plays my mom. My character is supposed to go on this trip to South America with a boyfriend,” Schumer told the Los Angeles Times about Mother/Daughter. “But he breaks up with her. And it’s a nonrefundable ticket and she doesn’t want to drink alone. It’s a Goldie Hawn movie and she’s gorgeous. Goldie … Hawn! I don’t remember the first time I didn’t love her!”
