During Artie Lange’s appearance on Late Show with David Letterman last night, he joked about how, since he’s been out of the spotlight for nearly two years he’s missed out on a lot of technological advances– most notably Twitter. Well, Lange quietly joined the microblogging sight after he taped his segment but before it aired last night.
So, let us be one of the first people to welcome you, @Artie_Lange to Twitter. The co-host of the Nick and Artie radio show has already tweeted 10 times, the last — as of this writing — of which is pictured below. It’s clearly a reference to his current state of mind and health. You’ll probably remember that Lange never returned to the Howard Stern Show after he attempted suicide in January of last year.
Lange joins other veteran comedians who have “gotten with the time” to join the heavily-popular social networking site. Recently we have seen @chrisrock and @jerryseinfeld join. It may not be Friday, but give Artie Lange an belated #FF today! And check out his full appearance on Letterman from last night, below!
