Colin Quinn, Robert Kelly and more come together to honor late comedian Mike DeStefano

As you may recall, comedian Mike DeStefano passed away this past March due to a heart attack. Left mostly unknown was his recently completed one-man show, Drugs, Disease, and Death: A Comedy, an emotional albeit highly entertaining piece that was only seen five times.

DeStefano’s legacy continues, though: some New York comedians are holding a benefit — part of the New York Comedy Festival — in his honor at 8 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. You can get tickets here. If you’re in the area, see Colin Quinn, Rich Vos, Bonnie McFarlane, Eugene Mirman, Robert Kelly, and Roy Wood Jr. You’ll also catch some rare footage of DeStefano and tributes from other friends and family members.

What a great way to carry on the legacy of a great comic – we laugh because crying would be sad, right? More details are available at – check it!
