Comedy Bang Bang hits the road with Paul F. Tompkins and The Birthday Boys

cbb-tour-posterComedy Bang Bang is hitting the road for the second year in a row. IFC announced that lead man Scott Aukerman is set to commence on a Comedy Bang Bang tour with special guest, Paul F Tompinks, and sketch group The Birthday Boys — whose own show (produced by Bob Odenkirk and Ben Stiller) on IFC premieres in October — will open.

The two-week tour will hit several cities starting in Los Angeles on Sept. 28 and will be a mix of “live performance pieces, audience interaction, character drop-ins, and improvisational games, along with sneak peek clips.” A portion of each show will be recorded as a podcast and released for purchase.
