Comedy Central announces Robert Kelly concert film premiere

Comedy Central will air Robert Kelly: Live at the Village Underground on Friday, Jan. 9 at midnight EST. Although you recently saw him do stand-up on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, Kelly hasn’t done a special with the network since his 2008 Comedy Central Presents. Now Robert Kelly is a little bit older. And he’s still just as raw. His latest hour of material covers his experiences with aging and that time he farted in a baby’s face. Kelly has been busy guest starring¬†on the upcoming FX series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll with pal Denis Leary and hosting his popular podcast You Know What Dude?

Robert Kelly: Live at the Village Underground was produced by the folks at Leary’s Apostle, who hope to produce more concert films in the future. Directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, the stand-up film debuted at the Rhode Island International Film Festival earlier this year. After its television premiere on Comedy Central on Jan. 9, the film will be available to anyone with the free Comedy Central App on Jan. 10, provided you sign in via your cable or satellite provider.
