Conan O’Brien snags sitcom pilot deal with TBS

It looks like Conan O’Brien might be widening his already-massive comedic presence to his current home network, TBS. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show “centers on a family man who quits his day job and returns to the neighborhood where he grew up. While there, he reunites with his former best friend.” The 30-minute pilot, a multi-camera affair (bucking the modern single-camera sitcom trend), will be executive produced by Coco himself as well as Conan producer Jeff Ross – not to be confused with comedian Jeffrey Ross – and David Kissinger (Adult Swim’s Eagleheart, which was renewed for a second season in April).

Congrats, Coco! Here’s hoping TBS picks it up to series.
