• Demetri Martin, Russell Peters, Jeff Dunham part of Comedy Central’s new Fall lineup

Comedy Central has announced their plans for the Fall season, including the premiere dates for their new and returning shows, some new stand-up specials and other exciting events. Let’s take a look.

Kicking off the Fall season on Sept. 25 at 10 pm ET is the return of Tosh.0, followed by the series premiere of Tosh’s new animated series Brickleberry at 10:30. It should be an interesting hour – the controversial host and stand-up has been laying low since the rape joke controversy back in July, which was followed by rumors that the Brickleberry team scrambled to remove all rape references from the show’s premiere, which was set to premiere at Comic-Con in San Diego. South Park returns for its 17th season on Sept. 26 at 10 pm immediately followed by the season two premiere of Key & Peele at 10:30. Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution will begin its second season on Oct. 4 at 10 pm ET, and a brand new stand-up series, hosted by TJ Miller, Mash-up will debut Oct. 9 at 12:30 am ET.

Comedy Central also has a handful of new stand-up specials to debut this Fall, including Demetri Martin: Stand-up Comedian (Sept. 29), Jeff Dunham: Minding the Monsters (Oct. 7), D.L. Hughley: The Endangered List (Oct. 27), Chris Hardwick: Mandroid (premiere date to be announced) and Russell Peters: The Green Card Tour (premiere date to be announced). And here’s two special events to look forward to this year: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, who just re-upped with Comedy Central — Colbert through 2014 and Stewart through mid-2015 — will air their Live Election Night Coverage on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 10 and 10:30 pm respectively.

Finally, The fourth biennial event Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs tapes in October and will premiere on the 21st of the same month. We’ll get back to you with more details on that as Comedy Central rolls them out.
