• Did Zach Galifianakis really give away ‘Hangover Part III’ plot to Rolling Stone?

Zach GalifianakisIn a supposedly revealing, interview with Rolling Stone, Zach Galifianakis, supposedly leaks the details to the next installment of The Hangover mega comedy franchise. Supposedly, his character Alan is stuck in a mental institution and the Wolf Pack attempts to break him out.

After his shenanigans involving January Jones a few weeks ago, in which he somehow convinced her that he was hilarious by insulting her, exactly how much credence should this “leak” be given? In fact, the hysterical Eddie Pepitone tweeted before the release of the Hangover Part II some suggestions to the sequels and their plots that could be just as valid.

Hangover 3- the boys wake up to find out that being drunk all the time is what the ruling class wants from the peasants

Hangover 4- the boys wake up to find out that the people watching the movie are debt-ridden and near homelessness.

Hangover 5- the country has become a feudal fiefdom and the boys only drink mead.

Hangover 6- the boys realize that partying after 30 is going to lead to liver disease and they go into the priesthood.

Hangover 7- the boys stop drinking and realize people need unions and local farming and free healthcare.

Hangover 8- the boys become anti-war activists and anti- factory farming as well. They still drink but only to celebrate real freedoms.

Hangover 9- they all live in a world where people take care of each other as a matter of plain humanity.

Would you rather see Pepitone’s versions of The Hangover?  What do you think the next Hangover should entail?

Jake Kroeger has dedicated his life, for better or probably worse, to comedy. Starting and continually running the Comedy Bureau, a voice for LA comedy, by himself, he also writes and performs stand-up comedy in LA and watches more live comedy than is probably humanly tolerable. He's been a daily contributor to Punchline Magazine, now Laughspin.com because he loves and believes in comedy so much. Said of Kroeger, "...without his dangerously insane, unhealthy work ethic, certain comics would not have any press at all."
