New York City is freaking out about Ebola and visitor Jim Carrey is no exception. The Dumb and Dumber To actor appeared on Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday night. In the middle of the interview, Carrey pulled out a thermometer and gave David Letterman an amateur Ebola screening. Of course, the Ebola “crisis” has been blown way out of proportion since it is fairly difficult to be infected unless you are making out with random sick people. But the gag got a good laugh with the New York crowd who has been inundated with non-stop Ebola news since Governors Andrew Cuomo and Chris Christie have been quarantining people they think might have Ebola. Letterman wondered if the comedian was worried about getting sick while traveling the world promoting films. “I’ve been married a couple times,” he quipped. “It takes a lot to scare me.” Check out Carrey’s Ebola test on Late Show with David Letterman and go see Dumb and Dumber To in theaters on Nov. 14.
