• Exclusive audio preview and details: New Patrice O’Neal album will be released Aug. 20

When he died on Nov. 29, 2011, one month after suffering a stroke, Patrice O’Neal left fans absolutely devastated. One of the loudest voices – both literally and figuratively – in the comedy world had been silenced forever. He was only 41.

Luckily, seven months before his death, O’Neal recorded a new album at the Improv in Washington, DC; the recording, Mr. P was later released posthumously in February of last year. In October of last year, Better Than You – a 20 minute single recorded from the same set of shows – was released digitally. And on Aug. 20, a new, full-length album called Unreleased, will be available for download and will be available in stores on Oct. 1. The proceeds from Unreleased will go to O’Neal’s family.

Like Better Than You, the album’s tracks are taken from his shows in DC. What makes this release incredibly unique is, in addition to there being plenty of never-releassed and well-written material, it liberally showcases O’Neal’s ability to make crowd work the center of his shows— if that’s what he was feeling that night. And that’s exactly what you’ll hear in this exclusive audio preview, wherein O’Neal digs into a woman eating chicken fingers.

The full track list is as follows:
    Confrontational Chicken Lady
    Uncircumcised Penis
    Old Dick vs Old Pussy
White Girl Pussy vs Black Girl Pussy
    Marrying My Girl
    Better Than You
    Finger Popping Technique
    Asshole Licking

The album artwork was done by famed graffiti artist David Choe. You can pre-order Unreleased now!
