Vine stars Jason Nash and Brandon Calvillo are planning a social media adventure and they need your help to pull it off. The two social media stars launched a 30-Day Kickstarter campaign for FML: A Social Media Adventure, Nash’s latest full-length feature film that will follow them as they embark on a cross-country road trip with the goal of boosting their social media followings. The Kickstarer campaign is offering donation rewards that include a digital download of the completed film, the film’s soundtrack, the production diaries and t-shirts. Exclusive opportunities include having video chats and greetings with the stars of the film, an Eddie Pepitone voicemail rant, a Vine class in L.A., a visit to the FML set, as well as a Vine or Instagram takeover by one of the stars.
FML will also feature a myriad of popular and notable Viners, including Brittany Furlan, Nicholas Megalis, and Marcus Johns, who will make cameos as Nash and Calvillo make the important journey of enhancing their social media super-stardom.
“The movie is part coming of age comedy, part mid-life crisis,” says Nash. “It’s a commentary on social media and how it changed our lives.”
Nash’s second cinematic offering will also star Patton Oswalt, Cougar Town’s Busy Philipps and Rob Corrdry of Hot Tub Time Machine and The Daily Show fame.
