• Jon Dore Comedy Central special tries to save America (Video)

Can Jon Dore be the Canadian savior America has been praying for? Comedy Central sure hopes so as it debuts Big Questions, Huge Answers with Jon Dore.

In this new special, Dore tackles “the two biggest threats to our children’s safety: cyberbullying and predatory teachers.” Obviously, Dore has something special up his sleeve as this will be airing on Comedy Central and not Vice. In one seemingly bonkers segment, according to Comedy Central’s website, viewers can expect a panel of students “to judge a ‘reverse beauty pageant’ of prospective educators, in a well-meaning but misguided attempt at recruiting ‘safe teachers.’” Honestly, whatever that means, we can’t wait to see it!

Dore is a Canadian comedian who first rose to fame on Canadian Idol and has since gone on to star in shows on IFC, ABC, and CBS. Comedy nerds may recall Jon Dore as one half of maybe the greatest late-night set of all-time when he and Rory Scovel did a “double booked” spot on Conan where they performed their sets at the same time.

Check out the trailer and see for yourself if you believe Dore is the man with the plan. Big Questions, Huge Answers premieres Monday, December 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Comedy Central.
