Maria Bamford, Melinda Hill’s Funny Or Die series The Program features Jerry Minor, Oscar Nunez and more as Debtors Anonymous members (Videos)

Maria Bamford is leading a new kind of 12-Step program in her new Funny or Die webseries The Program. In the first episode, Bamford’s character Peace introduces us to her Debtors Anonymous group filled with compulsive debtors from varied walks of life– a former sex worker (co-creator Melinda Hill), a delusional paranoid dude (Oscar Nunez) and more. Sure it’s true the United States is a nation deeply in debt, with many of its citizens facing unending debt from medical bills or student loans. But one begrudgingly new member of the group (Jerry Minor) has a different idea as to what has driven so many people into massive debt. In the second episode, just released this morning, we get disturbingly deep insight into the group’s sex addict (George Basil). Check out both episodes below and tell us what you think!
