• Nerdist Chris Hardwick hosts Cadillac web series

For years now, Cadillac has been trying to revamp their image from a company that builds cars exclusively for my grandfather to a car maker who builds cars for people who are not my grandfather. And, honestly, it seems they’ve been doing a good job.

And now, they’ve tapped comedian, pro nerd and podcaster Chris Hardwick to host Business Unusual, a video web series centered around the achievements of ultra-creative entrepreneurs. Each episode finds Hardwick hanging out with said creators and learning about their business and/or inventions. It’s actually pretty cool. We’d show you an episode here, but Cadillac hasn’t progressed enough to offer embeddable versions of their videos. Not cool, Cadillac. (Can I have a free care, Cadillac? I promise I won’t just sell it and use the money to move out of my shitty two-bedroom condo.)

So you’re going to have to head on over to the Business Unusual site to check out Chris in action. We know, Cadillac, that’s what you wanted all along. God forbid you share some of your web traffic, you stuffed shirts. (Seriously, I’ll take a free car. Your cheapest one, even)

By the way, folks, this isn’t the first time in recent history a luxury car brand has snagged a super cool comedian to push their wares. Whitney Cummings hosted a similar web-based campaign for Lexus last year. Lexus knows about embedding video technology.
