• New Carlos Mencia, Craig Ferguson, Jeff Dunham specials will hit Comedy Central this Fall

    Comedy Central will premiere new hour-long specials this Fall from veteran comedians Carlos Mencia, Pablo Francisco, Craig Ferguson, Weird Al Yankovic and Jeff Dunham– as well as up-and-comers T.J. Miller and Donald Glover, the network announced today. Comedy Central also confirmed series premiere dates for returning shows, including Tosh.0 (Tues, Sept. 20, 10 pm EST), Workaholics (Tues, Sept. 20 at 10:30 pm EST), South Park (Oct. 5, 10 pm EST) and Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time (Wed, Oct. 5, 10:30 pm EST). The network will also premiere Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution — a new stand-up comedy showcase — on Thurs, Oct. 6 at 10 pm EST.

    Dunham’s new special Controlled Chaos will debut Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9 pm EST; ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Live! – The Alpocalypse Tour will hit Sat, Oct. 1 at 9 pm EST; Craig Ferguson: Does This Need to Be Said? will premiere Sat, Oct. 15 at 10 pm EST; Pablo Francisco: They Put It Out There will air Sat, Nov. 5 at 11 pm EST; TJ Miller: No Real Reason premieres Sat, Nov. 12; Donald Glover: Weirdo will debut Sun, Nov. 20. Finally, Mencia’s new special (which doesn’t have a title yet) will make its debut Sunday, Dec. 4.

    The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, which has already been aggressively publicized for weeks, will premiere Monday Sept. 19 at 10 pm EST; and an as-of-yet-untitled South Park documentary will air on the network Sunday, Oct. 2 at 10 pm EST. And if that’s not enough, you’ll be able to catch all your favorite episodes of 30 Rock, as the hit show makes its cable television debut Sept. 19; Comedy Central will run back-to-back episodes starting at 7 pm EST on weeknights.
