• Reports: Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson will host syndicated talk show when contract expires in December

    Not even four months after Craig Ferguson announced he’d be leaving his post at CBS as host of the Late Late Show, it seems the Scottish comedian has landed a new gig. According to reports, Ferguson is about to sign a deal to host a new syndicated talk show that would air around 7 or 7:30 pm— not during late night!

    “It will also tape in Ferguson’s current studio at CBS’ Television City lot and be quite similar to his current series, with occasional guest interviews,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

    Ferguson’s Late Late Show contract expires in December after nearly 10 years as host. Rumors have swirled since last week that his replacement will be British actor and comedian James Corden. Check out Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show retirement announcement below.
