• Zach Braff, Scrubs cast to reunite for first time at Vulture Festival

Scrubs fans rejoice! Zach Braff and the rest of Sacred Heart Hospital’s staff are coming together at the Vulture Festival Los Angeles to talk about the medical dramedy many fans and critics felt was ahead of its time.

The reunion will take place on November 17 at the famous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel as the festival kicks off its second year. Creator Bill Lawrence and cast members Braff, Sarah Chalke, Christa Miller, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins, Judy Reyes, and John C. McGinley are all scheduled to appear together for the first since the show went off the air in 2010.

The two-day long Vulture Festival Los Angeles, an offshoot of the New York-based entertainment expo now going in its sixth year, will feature a wide array of live performances, interview panels, and a live museum tour. Most of the show will take place at The Hollywood Roosevelt, while some of the festival’s attractions will occur in other yet-t0-be announced venues.

Also on the schedule of this year’s Vulture Festival Los Angeles:

    • True Blood – 10th Anniversary and Live Commentary with Alan Ball. It’s been ten years since a telepathic waitress first met a vampire in the swampy depths of Louisiana as the living and the dead learned to somewhat coexist. Reminisce with us as we look back at the pilot episode with creator Alan Ball providing live insight and behind-the-scenes stories throughout the screening.
    • Comedians You Should Know – Hosted By Pete Holmes and the cast of HBO’s Crashing. Vulture presents Comedians You Should & Will Know, a live show featuring comedians from Vulture’s annual list of up-and-coming comedic talent. The show is hosted by star and creator of HBO’s Crashing, Pete Holmes, with special appearances including Emo Phillips.
    • Big Mouth Table Read With Nick Kroll — and only Nick Kroll (and Andrew Goldberg Reading Stage Directions). At Vulture Festival, Nick Kroll is going to take on all the voices in his animated series Big Mouth — all the pubescent teens, all the Hormone Monsters, and all the talking pubes — for an incredibly ambitious, sure-to-be-hilarious one-person table read. Co-creator Andrew Goldberg will be on hand to narrate stage directions and probably help keep Nick hydrated.

Tickets for the reunion and the festival at large go on sale to the public today, October 18. For further information on ticket availability, check out the show’s official website. For the full line-up, visit www.vulturefestival.com/events.
