Fresh off his firing from the Baltimore Ravens and possible lifetime ban imposed by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, former star running back and wifebeater Ray Rice has a new foe: Seth Rogen. New footage from within the elevator that shows the knockout punch Rice landed on then-fiance Janay Palmer has been released online. Commissioner Goodell caused outrage by suspending him a mere two games after the incident surfaced but before the video was posted. Goodell’s original decision led to a discussion about the way the National Football League handles players who commit domestic violence. As the footage was seen nationwide, the funny man Rogen got serious on Twitter calling the 27-year-old player “garbage.”
I don’t know much about football, but I know that Ray Rice is a piece of garbage who shouldn’t be allowed to play it professionally anymore.

Not long after the morning’s tweet, the Baltimore Ravens announced it had cut the player from its roster. Soon after, the NFL announced it had banned Rice “indefinitely.” Rice did not respond to Rogen’s comments on Twitter, nor anyone’s, as he hasn’t touched his account since February 12, just a few days before the incident took place.
This is not Rogen’s first time calling people out on Twitter. Just yesterday he let Citi Bike know what he thought of them and he used his 140 characters to send some harsh words Justin Bieber’s way. In this case, though, we see the Neighbors star take his public anger out in a very sincere, controlled manner. Seth Rogen: the Twitter vigilante.
