• Simpsons and Family Guy crossover coming to Fox

    Homer Simpson, meet Peter Griffin. At their upfront presentation to advertisers on Monday, Fox exec Kevin Reilly announced that The Simpsons and Family Guy will (finally) appear together in a crossover show. The Simpson family will appear on a one-hour episode of Family Guy in September in an episode called “The Simpsons Guy”. The two powerhouse animated comedies will be one of several “eventizing” efforts that Fox has planned. If you keep up with your Simpsons news, you’ll remember that Fox turned your favorite yellow family into Legos for its 550th episode on May 4. The Lego version corresponded with the release of a special edition (and very expensive) Simpsons-themed Lego set. More details to come…
