Steve Carell’s celebrity improv game show Riot has been ordered to series and will feature famous guests including Jason Alexander, Cheryl Hines and Carell himself! Originally developed under the name Slide Show, Riot has a regular cast of contestants playing improv games with Hollywood celebrities while on a stage that is slanted at a 22-degree angle. Think Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets Wipeout!. Executive producer and contestant Carell brought the game show to the United States after various versions of the concept gained popularity in France, Australia, Portugal and Denmark. Even the Netherlands, Spain and China will launch their own versions.

Australian comedian Rove McManus will serve as host while the series regulars include comedians John Ross Bowie, Jamie Denbo, Brian Palermo, Jordan Black, Jessica McKenna, Meryl hathaway and Rob Gleeson. Riot premieres May 13 at 9 pm EST on Fox.
