• Christina Applegate is out, Maya Rudolph is pregnant and other reasons Up All Night is doomed

The drama currently surrounding NBC’s series Up All Night is beginning to rival that of Community from 10 months ago. When the latter show’s creator and executive producer Dan Harmon was ousted in May of last year, it blew the mind’s of the show’s cult followers. The major difference between Community and Up All Night’s situation, however, is that I don’t expect Up All Night’s less nerdy, less-culty following to

Community recap: Jeff and the dean get close, Britta loves Troy, Annie rebels and more!

Welcome back, Human Beings! It is so good to see you again. Last we were together, things were trippy for our gang. Now we’re back en medias hijinks, and it’s business as usual at Greendale (i.e. kinda sorta cray-cray). Troy and Abed back from suh-mer! (Summer, NBC. SUMMER. Whatever.)

Why Steve Carell won’t return to The Office

Dundler Mifflin’s most popular employee – for better or worse – Michael Scott, will not enter the paper company’s Scranton, PA office again– even for a brief moment. And although most fans of the NBC favorite, currently in its ninth and final season, would love to see Scott again (regardless of how awkwardly producers shoe-horn it in), Carell is resolved to not reprise his role on The Office. “I just

Season 4 of Community kicks off with Hunger Games spoof (Video)

When Community finally returns Feb. 7 at 8 pm ET on NBC, we’ll find the study group at the start of their senior year. That’s according to Joel McHale, who plays Jeff Winger, the smarmy (but lovable) ex lawyer. “There’s dancing, there’s fighting, there are unicorns,” he adds in the “First Look” video below. We also see that Winger is just a few credits shy of graduating “early.” The fourth

She’s the mother to a nine-month-old daughter and she’s got another human baking in her womb, but that doesn’t mean pop star Jessica Simpson doesn’t have time for business. Indeed, it seems NBC has struck a deal with the former reality star to develop what’s being described as a Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque comedy series revolving around Simpson. “The network has given the greenlight for producers to shoot a “presentation” —

Well, if this first clip – intro’d by Danny Pudi, Jim Rath and Joel McHale – is any indication, the show hasn’t lost its edge. Watch the below clip from “History 101”

The good news is that Josh Gad, the ultra-talented writer, producer and actor (Broadway’s Book of Mormon, NBC’s upcoming 1600 Penn) has landed himself a new high-profile writing gig. The bad news is that said high-profile gig is writing the sequel to 1988’s Twins, which will feature Eddie Murphy playing Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s long lost third sibling. Exactly.
