    When NBC kicked freshman series Animal Practice to the curb last week, and replaced it with the second season of Whitney, I thought fellow first-year effort Guys With Kids (which was scoring only infinitesimally better ratings than Animal Practice) would follow and — alas — Community’s fourth season would begin where the stuck-in-the-1950s-themed sitcom (What???     Jay Leno takes a 50 percent pay cut, renews with Tonight Show through 2014
