Trevor Noah announces Loud and Clear arena tour

Comedian Trevor Noah announced a 6-month, 28-city tour on Monday. The Loud and Clear tour will start in Toronto on January 11, 2019. Other major stops include, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, and Philadelphia. The first part of the tour comes to a close in Houston on June 22. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah host then has a three-month break and officially concludes his shows in Medford, MA on November 15.

Presale begins at 10:00 a.m. local time on October 17 for Citi cardholders, the official presale credit card for the tour, with the rest of the tickets going on sale to the general public through the Live Nation website on October 19 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Presale tickets are purchased through Citi’s Private Pass system.

Noah, who took over as host of The Daily Show in 2015, has released nine comedy specials and written a New York Times bestselling book called Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Child. His most recent special Afraid of the Dark aired on Comedy Central last year.

The late night host’s stand-up often offers his take on politics and current events. The 34-year-old comedian, who was born to an interracial couple towards the end of apartheid in South Africa, quickly became the biggest comic on the continent before coming to the United States and joining the Daily Show as a correspondent. Since taking over for Jon Stewart, Noah has been nominated for three Emmy awards for his work on the show, winning one.
