• Watch Tom Scharpling’s newest, brilliant music video featuring Chris Gethard and more!

If there was such a realm of music videos that could have a ruler, Tom Scharpling would undoubtedly be king. The host of The Best Show on WFMU and podcast Low Times has made his mark bridging some of the best in comedy with some of the best in music in unforgettably funny music videos. His past videos feature comedians Kurt Braunohler and Wyatt Cenac in The Stepkids’ “Legend in My Own Mind” Paul F. Tompkins trying to make a musical out of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists’ “Bottled in Cork” and having Patton Oswalt play Scharpling, explaining why the video for the Ettes’ “Excuse” is beyond low budget to the point where is mostly just green screen as a back drop the whole time.

See Scharpling’s latest contribution to saving music videos with Real Estate’s “Easy” featuring funny people Chris Gethard, Gabe Delahaye and Jake Fogelnest below.

    Jake Kroeger

Jake Kroeger has dedicated his life, for better or probably worse, to comedy. Starting and continually running the Comedy Bureau, a voice for LA comedy, by himself, he also writes and performs stand-up comedy in LA and watches more live comedy than is probably humanly tolerable. He's been a daily contributor to Punchline Magazine, now Laughspin.com because he loves and believes in comedy so much. Said of Kroeger, "...without his dangerously insane, unhealthy work ethic, certain comics would not have any press at all."
